Description After much speculation Edmunds offsider Baldrick the 8th has a big brother. The Baldrick 17 port pixel controller is high performance, feature rich controller designed by iLightThat in the UK. https://baldrickboard.com/docs/baldrick17/introduction Note: – Photos showing wiring and enclosure are indicative only. No wiring or enclosure is supplied. Fuses and connectors aren’t shown but are supplied. Baldrick was the faithful servant of fictional tv character Edmund Blackadder from the 4 seasons of Blackadder as well as several specials. The board, settings and the documentation borrow some of the legendary humour from the classic tv show. The controller has it’s own firmware and doesn’t rely on a Raspberry Pi or Falcon Player (FPP) as the brains to run it. The controller can have data sent to it from a pc, laptop, a Raspberry Pi or other sources of E1.31/DDP/Artnet data. The Baldrick Board will output up to 750 WS281x pixels @ 40fps per output. The Baldrick Board has 4 30amp power inputs (5-48v DC) as well as a single 10A input for pixel output 17 plus the board. The 4 30A rated inputs allows 7.5amp outputs across all 16 outputs that they power and the 5th power input allows output 17 to have the same rating. 3 user inputs with corresponding buttons to trigger remote webhooks and/or activate onboard functions (FPP actions etc) CR2032 battery cradle so that onboard CunningFX playlists can be battery backed. Fuse-good indicator lights for easy problem-finding Wired 100Mb ethernet for minimal network delay and a second ethernet port to allow daisy chaining to downstream controllers. Direct integration with xlights versions 2025.8 and later. (Vendor- iLightThat, Model- Baldrick17) Conformal coating over front of the pcb to reduce the chance of damage from condensation or precipitation QR code on the pcb which links directly to the baldrickboard website You can read more about the controller here: https://baldrickboard.com The official Facebook page for the Baldrick range of controllers is https://www.facebook.com/groups/3626858730963141
