The R100 cannot be used to cure full bonnets or roofs as this cure area size is too large and will cause the R100 to overheat. The R100 is most suited to curing UV primed areas, for larger areas of either UV primer or UV clearcoat where the cure area size is a full panel or over we recommend using the TESLACURE mobile robotic large area curing machine. The TESLACURE LED UVA R100 Handheld cordless lamp can flash off UV primers and clearcoats, normally a paint manufacturer will have a 3-4 minute flash off time for their UV product, the TESLACURE R100 can reduce these flash off times to 3 seconds. When flashing off UV primer you will see the surface turn matt appearance within 3 seconds, you are now ready to spray the next coat. NOTE: Maximum cure times must never exceed 8 minutes at any one time, after each cure you should let the unit cool down for 10 minutes before using it again. This will ensure that your equipment cures at maximum performance efficiency and does not overheat.
